I hope this trend of encouraging consumption by making it cheaper ends soon. Can adding to the federal deficit really help the economy in the long run, even if it gets us all in the driver’s seat of superfly golf carts?
It’s already written into funding by congress, so the money’s going to be there until it gets used. The Federal deficit was going to be there anyway. Devoting a few extra dollars to get people spending again is the jumpstart this economy needs. Yeah, having the deficit sucks, but we’ve got to deal.
